We respect the privacy of every visitor to our site and are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Information We Collect General Inquiries If you contact us, we collect your contact information and may keep a record of your message. Financial Contributions If you make a financial contribution, we require your contact information and we keep a record of your donation. If you pay using PayPal, additional information you provide to PayPal (including but not limited to your credit card information) is not provided to us, and is instead subject to PayPal's privacy policy. If you instead pay us directly, then we may process and collect standard credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date); credit card numbers are held only until the charge can be processed (usually several minutes), and then the number is only available for purposes of problem resolution. Apartment Applications We collect personal information for apartment applications and are required to keep records. If you have questions regarding the use or storage of this data please contact us. How We Use Your Information Information from General Inquiries Personal information provided in connection with a general inquiry will only be used for the specific purpose for which it was submitted. Information from Financial Contributors Personal information provided in connection with a financial contribution will only be used for the specific purpose for which it was submitted. Information from Apartment Applicants Personal information provided in connection with an apartment application will only be used for the specific purpose for which it was submitted, which may include but is not limited to: obtaining credit reports, verifying insurance, and obtaining information regarding character references, general reputation, mode of living, and rental references. Aggregate Information We may use personal information to generate aggregated information that does not allow the individual to be personally identified or contacted. Aggregated information shows visitor activity as a whole rather than on an individual basis and may be used to improve the effectiveness of the Transplant House website. Legal Requirements Other than as set out above, we will only release personal information to third parties if a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order legally requires such disclosure. Security We use appropriate security measures (including encryption and other electronic and procedural safeguards) in order to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information under our control.
