SWIM is a self-published memoir by Bill Coon that documents his battle with end-stage heart and kidney failure and his 70-day hospital stay in the ICU. The book is told through both short stories and personal journal entries, which detail his wait for two life-saving transplants. SWIM was written to bring hope to anybody facing any form of illness, hopefully aiding individuals in their struggle by providing a form of support system, and the comfort in knowing that they are not alone.
